Normal Food.

Did you ever set out to buy normal food for normal-sized people? I get quite mad when I am offered 'fat-free' as if they were doing something special for me. Take yoghourt, for instance;what do 'they' do with the fat they pinch?

The same with icecream - not that commodity has much to do with cream nowadays - But fat-free icecream?...........I suppose they put the fat into luxury icecream and charge us for the 'extra-special' creaminess they got for nothing in the first place.

Now I feel much better, just back from shopping, and having got that off my chest. Yes, wouldn't you know I'm new at this "blogging" game.......Much better at getting rid of stress than a cuppa tea!

Low fat usually means high carb, of course. So I wouldn't be surprised if this fixation with low fat is the root cause of the obesity epidemic.

IMHO the best way to stay away from low-fat labeled foods is to shop for natural and organic foods instead. I'm concerned about food processing that can eliminate fat from normally fat-filled foods.

I barely keep up with one blog, much less two.
